After just over a week in London, UK -which will be my final post from this trip- it was time to head off on our mini Balkan Tour.
FIRST STOP: Bled, Slovenia
Located between Austria, Italy and Croatia, Slovenia is where the Germanic, Mediterranean and Slavic worlds come together, and it is probably the most underrated place I've been to yet. Lush gardens, rolling fields, medieval towns, the Julian Alps, fresh air, fresher food.
I went to Grand Cayman earlier this year with B. to meet his parents and fell head over heels in love with the flip flop life. Blue skies, warm skin, salty air, sand in your toes. It doesn’t get much better than that, especially in February!
Have you found him yet? He's right there... Right in the... Okay, confession, he's not actually in the picture. He didn't read this article on "How To Buy Burning Man Tickets," so he missed on an experience of a life time! It's too bad because all he had to do was close his eyes, tap the heels of his desert boots together three times and think to himself "The Playa Provides!"
Registration for Burning Man tickets starts Today!!! ...and goes until Friday.

Long Distance is hard. Like most other couples amidst young love today, finding out that my main man, my other half, Koy would be moving to a different country was like the Earth had spun off its axis. Here's a video he made for me when he left of the last summer we spent together in 2013. The modern day love letter for current nomads like us living the Canalien Life.
11. Surprises.......
A world without surprises would be missing a lot more than a milk chocolate layer on the outside, and a white chocolate layer on the inside...
Everyone likes the idea of getting lost while traveling... so you should totally do it!! Planned periods of spontaneity allow you to follow your intuition and gut-feeling, which are an essential part of travel!
Right before I jumped out of the plane, she asked, "Are you ready for this?" ...f*** no I screamed mid-backflip as I fell the first 6 ft. of 14,000. Gosh, I was so young and naive, how did I not know that No and Yes means Yes on vacation!?
Sure, winter is coming and with just one look at those Sorels and negative temperatures all your instincts are telling you to huddle inside and not emerge until March, but instead of hibernating, why not make some Canadian travel plans this winter?
Ever wanted to ski the Rockies but not quite sure how to get started? This all-inclusive guide from Fairmont will help! Stay tuned next week when I share my highlights from a ski trip to Banff where I hit up Lake Louise and roadtripped through the Rockies for amazing inversion bluebird days at Revelstoke.
Introducing the cutest and coziest holiday activity that there ever was: Toronto’s very own Distillery District Christmas Market. This place is cuter than a French Bulldog puppy turtling on its back and cozier than being buried in a pillow-fort 7 episodes into Narcos.
